Querying and Modifying the Parameters of DLAG

As for the created protection, the working channel can be queried and the corresponding parameters can be modified on the U2000 Web LCT.

Prerequisites

You must be an NM user with "NE operator" authority or higher.

The DLAG protection group must be configured.

Background Information

The system priority of the DLAG is used to compare with the DSLAM at the opposite end. The DLAG with higher system priority (the System Priority value is smaller) is in the leading place during the LACP negotiation process. The switching triggered by the port priority can be applied only on the side with higher system priority. That is, the protection switching is triggered only when the priority of the DLAG port that is in the leading place is changed.

Procedure

  1. Click the NE in the NE Explorer, and choose Configuration > Ethernet Distributed Link Aggregation Management from the function tree.
  2. Click Query in the right interface. The parameters of the current protection group can be queried.

  3. Optional: Select the DLAG protection group and right-click on it. Select LAG Brief Info, LAG Details, or Link LACP Packet Statistics and you can obtain the related information.
  4. Double-click the corresponding parameter field. You can select or enter a new parameter. The parameters, such as Revertive Mode, System Priority, Main Port Priority and Standby Port Priority, can be modified.

    NOTE:
    • The protection switching is triggered only when the system priority or port priority is changed in the revertive mode.
    • The default priority is 32768. The value ranges from 0 to 65535.
    • The smaller the value is, the higher the priority is.

  5. Click Apply to apply the configuration.
