The DLAG protection is configured on two TBE boards to provide the 1+1 protection of ports.
Background Information
The DLAG configuration method described in this section. The DLAG protection can work with the SW SNCP protection. Two independent electrical cross-connections must be configured between the main board of the DLAG protection and the working and the protection board of the SW SNCP protection respectively.
In the example described in this section, the source and sink boards should be configured with the following cross-connect services:
- Source: 104-11TBE-101(AP1/AP1); sink: 103-11L4G-201(LP1/LP1), unidirectional cross-connection
- Source: 104-11TBE-101(AP1/AP1); sink: 105-11L4G-201(LP1/LP1), unidirectional cross-connection
Procedure
- Click the NE in the NE Explorer, and choose from the function tree.
- Click New at the bottom of the interface. The Create Distributed Link Aggregation Group dialog box is displayed. Set the attributes and ports of the aggregation group. For details, refer to Parameters.
- Click OK, and the created protection groups are displayed on the interface.
