Setting IPA Start Delay

The Start Delay function is used to avoid alarm jitter. That is, when the detect board detects an LOS-MUT or the detect auxiliary board detects an LOS, the system starts IPA function to make adjustment after a delay time.

Prerequisites

You must be an NM user with "NE administrator" authority or higher.

IPA protection groups must be created.

Procedure

In the NE Explorer, click an NE and choose Configuration > IPA Management from the Function Tree.
Click Query to query the created IPA information.
Click OK.
A prompt appears telling you that the operation was successful. Click Close.
Start the NE Explorer of the opposite NE. Refer to Steps 1 through 6 to set the IPA start delay on the opposite NE.
