As for the created protection, the working channel can be queried and the corresponding parameters can be modified on the U2000 Web LCT.
Prerequisites
You must be an NM user with "NE operator" authority or higher.
The ODUk SNCP protection group must be created.
The protection service is in the unlocked status.
Procedure
- Click the NE in the NE Explorer, and choose from the Function Tree. Click SNCP Service Control.
- Click Query in the right interface. The parameters, such as Revertive Mode and Working Channel Hold-Off time (100ms), of the current protection group can be queried.
NOTE: The protection group will be displayed in the SNCP Service Control tab only if the service is activated. - Optional: Double-click the corresponding parameter field. You can select or enter a new parameter. The parameters, such as Revertive Mode, WTR Time (s) and SD Switching, can be modified.
- Click Apply to apply the configuration.
- Click Query at the bottom of the interface to query the Current Status, Channel Status and Current Channel of the current protection group.
- Select one protection group, and click Function. Perform the desired operation in the displayed menu to realize the protection switching.
NOTICE: Protection switching operation may cause interruption of the service. You need to query the current status of both working channel and protection channel , and confirm whether to continue with the switching operation or not. NOTE: When Revertive Mode is Revertive, Force to Working Channel and Manual to Working Channel are not available.
