Modifying the Parameters of Client 1+1 Protection

As for the created protection, the working channel and protection channel can be queried and the corresponding parameters can be modified on the NM.

Prerequisites

The client 1+1 protection must be created.

Procedure

  1. Click the NE in the NE Explorer, and choose Configuration > Port Protection from the function tree.
  2. Click Query in the Port Protection interface. The parameters, such as Revertive Mode, Working Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms) and Protection Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms), of the current protection group can be queried.
  3. Select one protection group, and click Function. Perform the desired operation in the displayed menu to realize the protection switching.
  4. Select one protection group and click Modify. The Modify Protection Group dialog box is displayed. The parameters of the selected group, such as Revertive Mode, Working Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms), Protection Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms) and SD Switching can be modified.

    NOTE:

    You can modify the protection group only when the protection group status is set to OOS.

  5. Click OK. The Operation Result dialog box prompts that the operation is successful. Click Close.
