Modifying the Parameters of Intra-Board 1+1 Protection

Procedure

1. Click the NE in the NE Explorer, and choose Configuration > Port Protection from the Function Tree.
2. Click Query in the Port Protection interface. The parameters, such as Revertive Mode and WTR Time(mm:ss), of the current protection group can be queried.
3. Select one protection group, and click Function at the lower part of the interface. Click Query Switching Status in the displayed menu to query the current channel state and switching state of each channel in the protection group.
4. Select one protection group, and click Function. Choose the desired command from the shortcut menu to perform a protection switching.
5. Select one protection group and click Modify. The Modify Protection Group dialog box is displayed. The parameters of the selected group, such as Revertive Mode, Working Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms), Protection Channel Hold-Off Time (100ms) and SD Switching can be modified.
   NOTE:

   You can modify the protection group only when the protection group status is set to OOS.

6. Click OK. The Operation Result dialog box prompts that the operation is successful. Click Close.
