Parameters

Following is the description of the parameters of board-level protection.

Table 1 lists the parameters involved in the configuration of board-level protection.

Field	Value	Description
Working Board	For example: 3-TBE	Displays the configured working board.
Protection Board	For example: 4-TBE	Displays the configured protection board.
Active Board	Working Board, Protection Board	Displays the current working unit.
Switching Status	Forced Switch Request, Auto Switching, Idle	Displays the current switching state of the protection group. Forced Switch Request: Indicates forced switching. Auto Switching: Indicates that the current working or protection board is unavailable or both of them are unavailable. Idle: Indicates that both the current working and protection boards are available. The working unit is either of them.
Extended Control Unit	Not Extended, SCS Extension	Displays the current extension state of the protection group. Not Extended: Indicates that the protection group operates in general mode. SCS Extension: Indicates that the protection group operates in extended mode.
Group State	OOS, IS	Displays whether the protection group is in service. NOTE: The protection can not be deleted if the Group State displays as IS.
