This section describes the configuration process of the OTN overhead.
The configuration process of the OTN overhead is as follows: Configure the overhead of the source node and then configure the overhead of the sink node. For the signals of the same wavelength, the overhead configuration sequence of the source node is as follows: PM overhead, TCM overhead, SM overhead, and then OCh overhead. The overhead configuration of the sink node in this case, however, follows the reverse direction, namely in the following sequence: OCh overhead, SM overhead, TCM overhead, and then PM overhead.
For managing the OptiX OSN 3800A, OptiX OSN 6800A and OptiX OSN 8800(NA) series, configure the OTN overhead by referring to the processes as shown in Figure 1.
For managing the OptiX OSN 1800(NA), configure the OTN overhead by referring to the processes as shown in Figure 2.
