Project Description

This section describes the Ethernet service configuration in a ring network.

See Figure 1. The project is a ring network consisting of four ONEs named A, B, C and D. All ONEs are OADM stations.

In the project, there are three Ethernet services. They are the bidirectional services between ONEs A and B, ONEs A and C, and ONEs A and D. The three services are provided with VLAN SNCP protection. In the receive direction, the east service is the working service and the west service is the protection service.

Two L4G boards are configured in each ONE. Figure 2 gives the unidirectional service allocation. The services to be configured on each ONE are listed in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3.
