This function describes the NE user management which ensure the NE security.
In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select from the Function Tree.

New |
Adds a user to operate the NE. The maximum number of the users in an NE is 240. |
Modify |
Modifies the attributes of a user. If the target user is a default user in the NE, user's attributes cannot be modified. |
Set Password |
Sets passwords for NE users other than the currently logged-in NE user. The general can only modify his own password. But the administrator can modify the other user's password. |
Logout NE User |
Lets online user log out of the NE. The general user can only log himself out, but the administrator can log out other users. |
Login Enabled |
Allows inhibited user to log in the NE. It is used by an appropriate administrator to allow (that is to restore) an existing user that has been disabled by the Login Disabled operation. |
Login Disabled |
Inhibits a user to log into the NE. It is used by an appropriate administrator to inhibit (that is to disable) an existing user who is temporarily inactive, but may become active again. The default user of the NE or a user which is online cannot be inhibited. |

Level |
RTRV, MAINT, PROV and SUPER |
The operations carried out by the NE user are classified into four levels, namely RTRV, PROV, MAINT, and SUPER from the lowest level to the highest. Each user of higher level can perform all the functions that a lower level user can do. For example, an operation level user has all the rights of a monitor level user. The system level user with the highest level has all the rights. The detailed right settings for each level are:
