Performance Threshold

It describes to set performance threshold for the equipment on the network, the fast and consistent way is to use the customized performance threshold template.

In this user interface, you can set the performance threshold for the board, optical port, or timeslot, and customize performance threshold template.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a card and select Performance > Performance Threshold from the Function Tree.

Sets threshold value for the selected object to the default value.

Use Template

Sets the performance threshold to be consistent with the template.

Monitored Object

For example: NE37-7-OC12Q-1(FAC-1)-STS1:3(For SONET), OTM-NE163-6-LWC1(For WDM)

Displays the unit or port of the NE, the performance data of which is being queried.

Performance Event

For example: ES-L(S)

It means threshold of the performance event is to be customized.

AID Type

For example: OC192

Displays the type of access identifier.

Location

Local End, Far End

It indicates the location where performance is monitored.

Local End refers to alarm conditions occurring at the identified entity.

Far End refers to alarm conditions occurring at a distant entity that is connected to the identified entity.

Direction

Receiving End, Transmitting End

It specifies the monitoring direction related to the entity identified.

Threshold Type

15-Minute Threshold[...], 24-Hour Threshold[...]

It displays the type and value range of the performance event. The value range of the performance event is displayed in the "[...]" .

Threshold Value

An integer within the value range of threshold type.

Sets the threshold value.
