OCh Overhead Management-SONET Interface

The overhead bytes (J0) to be received or to be sent of the SONET interface of the WDM equipment are queried and set, and the overhead bytes received are queried through this interface.

In this user interface, you can set and query the OCh overhead.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and select Configuration > WDM Overhead Management > OCh Overhead Management-SONET Interface from the Function Tree.

Description

Restore Previous Settings

Restores the settings of overhead bytes on the NMS to previous settings.

Restore Current Settings

Restores the settings of overhead bytes on the NMS to the settings that are the same as those on NEs.

State

IS

Sets the state of the ports to be in service.

OOS

Sets the state of the ports to be out of service.

Displays the state of the object.

Trace J0 Mode

MAN, DISABLE

Sets the trace J0 mode.

NOTE:
  • MAN: Use the provisioned expected string as the expected string.
  • DISABLE: Turn off path trace capability. Nothing will be reported.

Expected J0 Mode

1, 16, 64

Sets the expected path trace J0-byte mode.

NOTE:
  • 1: 1-byte mode
  • 16: 16-byte mode
  • 64: 64-byte mode

J0 to be send

For example: 1

Displays the path trace J0 byte (s) to be send.

J0 to be Received

For example: 1

Displays the expected path trace J0 byte (s).

J0 Received

For example: 1

Displays the incoming path trace J0 byte (s).
