Alarm Attribute Setting

In this user interface, you can query alarm attributes and set the alarm attributes to be consistent with the chosen template.

Monitored Object

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name

Selects an object to set the alarm attributes. The object can be an NE, a board, or a channel.

Name

For example: SD-L

Displays the name of alarm event. Different operation objects have different alarm events.

AID Type

For example: EQPT

Displays the type of access identifier.

Location

Remote End, Local End

Displays the single location for which an alarm condition is being reported.

Local End refers to alarm conditions occurring at the identified entity.

Remote End refers to alarm conditions occurring at a distant entity that is connected to the identified entity.

Direction

Receiving End, Transmitting End

Displays the direction of the alarm condition.

Severity

Critical, Major, Minor, Not Alarmed, Not Reported

Displays the alarm severity.

Service Affecting

Yes, No

Displays the effect on service caused by the standing or alarm condition.

Condition Type

SC, TC, -

Sets the alarm condition types. If it is null, alarms of every type will be reported.
