Ethernet Test

This user interface is for commissioning of installed Ethernet boards and fault location. You can set the send mode, send direction and the number of test frames to be sent.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > Ethernet Maintenance > Ethernet Test from the Function Tree.

Clear Counters

Clears the Counters of Test Frame.

Clear Counters contain Clear All Counters, Clear Sending Counter, Clear Response Counter and Clear Receiving Counter.

The number of the test frames to be sent

NOTE:
The number of Frames to Send could be slightly different for some equipment.

Test Frame Format

Indicates the packet type of test frame.

Test Frames Length

1 to 65535

Indicates the packet length of test frame. The valid value ranges from 1 to 65535, valid when Test Frame Format is FIXED.

Test Frames

1 to 4294967295

Indicates the packet number of test frame. The valid value ranges from 1 to 4294967295, valid when Send Flag is BURST.

Test Status

For example: COMPLD

Queries the status of the test.

Tx Bytes

For example: 0

Statistics of test frames sent.

Tx Error Frames

For example: 0

Statistics of error frames sent.

Rx Bytes

For example: 0

Statistics of received response frames.

Rx Error Frames

For example: 0

Statistics of error received response frames.
