Fiber Management

In this user interface, you can create, browse and delete fibers or cables. You can also generate a fiber report, save it as a text file or print it.

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and select Configuration > Fiber Management from the Function Tree.

Item	Description
Query	Queries the fiber information.
New	Creates a new fiber.
Delete	Selects a fiber to be deleted and right-click to delete it.
Print	Outputs the generated fiber/cable report to the browser and select to print it.
Save As	Saves the report as a text file.

Field	Value	Description
Level	WDM	Rate level of the board.
Direction	Single-Fiber Unidirectional	Displays the direction of the fiber/cable.
Source NE	For example: NE70	Source NE name.
