FTFL Overhead

In this user interface, you can set fault type & fault location reporting channel (FTFL) overhead bytes and relevant parameters.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose Configuration > OTN > FTFL Overhead from the Function Tree.

  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name-port number(port name)

Displays the object that the FTFL overhead monitors.

Displays the state of the object.

Operator Specific to Be Transmitted

64-byte string

Indicates the operator specific field that contains the fault type and fault location information. The valid value is a 64-byte string.

Received Forward Fault Type

SD, SF, NORMAL

Displays the forward fault type.

Received Operator Identifier of Forward Fault Location

CC, NSC

Indicates the incoming forward operator identifier field of FTFL. It consists of two sub-fields: CC and NSC.

Received Operator Specific of Forward Fault Location

CC, NSC

Indicates the incoming forward operator specific field of FTFL.

Received Backward Fault Type

SD, SF, NORMAL

Displays the backward fault type.

International Identifier of the Backward Fault Station

For example, aaa

Displays the international identifier of the backward fault station.

Received Operator Identifier of Backward Fault Location

CC, NSC

Indicates the incoming backward operator identifier field of FTFL. It consists of two sub-fields: CC and NSC.

Received Operator Specific of Backward Fault Location

CC, NSC

Indicates the incoming backward operator specific field of FTFL.
