Fan Attribute

In this user interface, you can query or set the fan speed mode and level.

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Fan Attribute from the Function Tree.

Field	Value	Description
Select Shelf	Master Shelf, Slave Shelf1, Slave Shelf2, Slave Shelf3, Slave Shelf4, Slave Shelf5, Slave Shelf6, Slave Shelf7	Selects the shelf for which you want to set the fan attributes. NOTE: Select Shelf is applicable to the OptiX OSN 6800A.
Fan Speed Mode	Adjustable Speed Mode, Auto Speed Mode	In the Adjustable Speed Mode, you can set the fan speed mode and level. In the Auto Speed Mode, the NE can automatically adjust the fan speed according to the environment.
Fan Speed Level	OptiX OSN 3800A/6800A: Stop, Low, Medium, High OptiX OSN 8800 T32(NA)/OptiX OSN 8800 64(NA)/OptiX OSN 1800(NA): Stop, Low, Medium-Low, Medium, Medium-High, High	Comparing with the low speed, the equipment has better heat dissipation at the high speed, but has a louder noise.
