Board 1+1 Protection

The board 1+1 protection group can effectively protect working boards. In this user interface, you can query the board protection group and perform protection switch.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click an NE and choose Configuration > Board 1+1 Protection from the Function Tree.

Buttons

Button	Description
Query	Queries the current status and configuration of board-level protection from the NE.
Working/Protection Switching	Manually switches between active and standby boards.

Parameters

Field	Value	Description
1+1 Protection Type	For example: SCC Board 1+1 Protection	Displays the type of the 1+1 protection pair.
Working Board	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name	The first created logical board is the working board that changes only after a user deletes the logical board and then adds a logical board. NOTE: The working board does not change upon the working/protection switching or soft and hard reset.
Protection Board	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: slot number-board name	If two cross-connect boards are in position and one board is selected as the working board, the other board automatically serves as the protection board.
Backup Information	INITIALIZATION, RUNNING, COMPLETE	Displays the backup status of the SCC boards.
