Collect Bandwidth Statistics for TE Link

By collect the bandwidth statistics of the TE links, The U2000 Web LCT displays the bearing relationship between the TE links. You can view the relationship more clearly, to facilitate located the problem. Also, you can filter the TE link then collect the bandwidth statistics for the required links.

Prerequisites

  • You are user with Guests authority or higher.
  • The ASON network is running normally.

Procedure

  1. Choose Configuration > WDM/OTN ASON > TE Link Management from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Fix-Network NE Configuration in Application Center and choose Configuration > WDM/OTN ASON > TE Link Management from the main menu (application style).
  2. In the Filter dialog box displayed, choose Name, Domain, Link Signal Type, Payload Type, Source/Sink NE and Extended Properties of the TE links that need to be synchronized, and then click Filter.

    NOTE:

    The U2000 Web LCT only collect the bandwidth for the filtered TE link. The links that not displayed in the TE link list is not collected.

  3. Click Synchronize. In the Synchronize dialog box displayed, choose Domain, Payload Type and Extended Properties.
  4. Click Synchronize.
    After the synchronization is complete, all the information about the TE links is displayed in the list.
  5. Click Maintenance, choose Collect Bandwidth Statistics. The progress bar is displayed.
  6. The WDM/OTN TE Link Bandwidth Statistics report is displayed. It shows the status and bearing relationship of the TE links.
  7. Optional: Click Query, the U2000 Web LCT will collect statistics again according the latest data of the server.
  8. Optional: Click Print, you can print the report and save it.
