The quick configuration wizard guides you to complete the configuration of the basic service data step by step.
Prerequisites
The IDU 605 1A/1B/2B must be installed correctly.
NOTE: The IDU 605 1F/2F does not support the Quick Configuration Wizard.
The ODU must be properly installed and fed with power.
Precautions
Quick configuration will clear the original configuration data. Therefore, the quick configuration function is applicable to only the initial configuration. Only certain special parameters in the quick configuration wizard are described in this document. For details of other parameters, see Configuring SDH/PDH Services Based on the SDH/PDH Microwave.
Procedure
- Select the NE from the Object Tree in the NE Explore. Choose from the Function Tree.
- Ensure that the NE equipment meets the requirements as stated by the prompt, and click Start Config.
- Click Next in the displayed dialog box.
- Ensure that the NE Panel is correct and click Next.
- After the parameters of the NE attributes are set, click Next.
- Configure the IF 1+1 protection in IF Protection. Click Next.
NOTE:
The 18)2E1,3.5MHz,QPSK work mode does not support IF 1+1 protection.
- Configure the IF parameters and RF parameters, and click Next.
- Selected the service and click Next.
- Ensure that Configure Reports is consistent with the engineering plan and then click Next.
The U2000 Web LCT starts to issue the configurations.
- Click Finish after all the configurations are successfully issued.
