Alarm Group

In this user interface, you can set Ethernet port alarm data. You can set whether to enable reporting and monitoring, and set the upper/lower threshold of alarm count.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the Ethernet board and select Performance > RMON Performance from the Function Tree. Click the Alarm Group tab.

In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose Configuration > Advanced Option > Maintenance from the Function Tree. Select One-Key Test tab, select Ethernet Service Test tab, select Alarm Group tab.

Port/Path

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name-port number(port name)

The port or path of the alarm.

Alarm Name

For example: DropEvent

Monitors alarms of the port by the Ethernet service type.

Sampling Interval(s)

5 to 600

The period of sampling the port data.

Report Mode

Report ALL

Report in Case of Lower Threshold-Crossing

Report in Case of Upper Threshold-Crossing

Sets whether to report alarm when the alarm number exceeds the upper or lower threshold, or report at any alarm.

Upper Threshold

1 to 4294967295

Sets the upper threshold of alarm count.

Lower Threshold

0 to 4294967294

Sets the lower threshold of alarm count.

Monitor Status

Enabled, Disabled

Default: Disabled

Sets whether to monitor.
