In this user interface, you can use the U2000 Web LCT to scan frequency interference on an ODU. When channel interference occurs, the commonly-used method is using special instruments to check whether transmit frequencies are interfered with. However, using special instruments to scan frequencies is not cost-effective. You can use the automatic frequency scanning function provided by the U2000 Web LCT instead.

Description |
|---|---|
Start Frequency Scanning |
Starts scanning after he ODU slot and scanning range are set. NOTICE:
This operation will cause link and service interruption. Exercise caution when starting frequency scanning. |
Stop Frequency Scanning |
Stops scanning during the progress. After the scanning stops, the radio frequency parameters TX Frequency (MHz) and Tx Status will restore the original settings before the scanning. |
Parameter |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Mute Peer Transmit Status |
Selected, Cleared |
Specifies whether to mute the peer transmit status.
NOTE:
|
Link ID |
For example: 1 |
Indicates the link ID. |
TX Frequency (MHz) |
For example: 23307.500 |
Indicates the current transmit frequency of the ODU. The transmit frequency varies with the scan frequency during the scanning. |
RX Power(dBm) |
- |
Indicates the RX power of the ODU. |
Frequency range (MHz) |
For example: 23282.000 to 23618.000 |
Indicates the frequency range of the ODU. Different ODUs may support different frequency ranges. |
Frequency Adjustment (MHz) |
1.5, 1.75, 3.5, 7, 14 |
Indicates the frequency adjustment step during the scanning. Scanning starts with the smallest frequency and jumps to a larger frequency according to the specified step until the scanning reaches the largest frequency of the frequency range. |
RF Slot ID |
For example: 21-ODU |
Indicates the ODU slot for frequency scanning. |
TX Status |
Muted, Unmuted |
Indicates the transmit status of the local ODU. After the scanning starts, TX Status becomes Muted automatically. After the scanning is complete, TX Status restores the original value Unmuted. |
Scanning range (MHz) |
For example: 23300.000 to 23600.000 |
Indicates the actual range of frequency scanning. The actual scanning range must be contained in the Frequency range(MHz). |
Auto Disabling Time (min) |
30, 15, 10, 5 You can also type an integer between 1 to 2880. |
Indicates the time for automatically disabling the remote ODU. Generally, the default value is recommended. NOTE:
This parameter applies only to the remote ODU. |
