In this user interface, you can configure transparent transmission of clock on boards so that the STM-1 optical port can trace the SDH clock on the third-party network and the board can restore the clock from E1 services on the VC12 path.
In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose from the Function Tree.
Field |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Retiming Mode |
System Clock, ACR Clock |
Indicates the clock retiming mode.
CAUTION:
Modifying this parameter can interrupt the services. Hence, exercise caution when performing this operation. |
Port |
For example: 15-CD1-2(PORT-2) |
Indicates the port for extracting the third-party network clock that traverses an asynchronous SDH network. The ports on the board use the third-party network clock to transmit and receive SDH frames. NOTE:
This parameter can be set only when Retiming Mode is set to ACR Clock. CAUTION:
Modifying this parameter can interrupt the services. Hence, exercise caution when performing this operation. |
Clock Source |
For example: Clock Source No.3 |
Indicates the restored clock source. The restored clock can be used as the system clock source. NOTE:
Assign the highest clock priority to the restored clock if you want to use it as the system clock source. |
Port |
For example: 1(PORT-1) |
Indicates the port where clock can be restored. |
Timeslot |
For example: VC12-10 |
Indicates the timeslot of the VC12 path where the clock can be restored. |
