In this interface, you can query and set VC4 loopback for the digital interface.

In the NE Explorer, click the board and select from the Function Tree.
NOTICE: Setting the loopback status of the optical (electrical) interface or VC4 to inloop or outloop may interrupt services and the ECC. Exercise caution before performing this function.

VC4 Loopback |
Non-Loopback, Inloop, Outloop Default: Non-Loopback |
Sets the VC4 loopback status for the IF Board. Non-Loopback is usually selected. Object: VC4 channel. Non-Loopback refers to the normal status. It is not required to set loopback during normal equipment operation. Outloop mean that the input signal passes through the ingress port and reaches the IF board at the local NE and then is directly loopbacked to the service egress end. Inloop means that the input signal returns from the IF board of the destination NE along the original trail. This function is usually used to locate faults for various VC4 channels. VC4 loopback is a diagnosis function which may affect services of related ports. Exercise caution before performing loopback. NOTE:
