Quick Configuration

The quick configuration feature is used to simplify the process for configuring PDH radio services on the per-NE basis in point-to-point networking (The service board should support E1 or T1 services only). This feature is not applicable for a network that has two or more radio directions. Also, this feature is not applicable for SDH radio configuration.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Quick Configuration from the Function Tree.

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Advanced Option > Quick Configuration from the Function Tree.

NOTICE:

This function will clear the original NE configuration and may interrupt services.

Parameters

Field

Value

Description

Protection Mode

HSB, SD, FD

Default: HSB

Selects the intermediate frequency 1+1 protection mode.

Working Board

For example: 5-IF1A-1

Selects the working board that have the intermediate frequency 1+1 protection.

Protection Board

For example: 7-IF1A-1

Selects the protection board that have the intermediate frequency 1+1 protection.

IF Board

For example: 5-IF1A-1

Selects an intermediate frequency board and set its parameters in the right-hand pane.

Working Mode

1) 4E1,7MHz,QPSK

2) 4E1,3.5MHz,16QAM

3) 8E1,14MHz,QPSK

4) 8E1,7MHz,16QAM

5) 16E1,28MHz,QPSK

6) 16E1,14MHz,16QAM

7) STM-1,28MHz,128QAM

Selects the microwave working mode. Its formats are service capacity, working bandwidth and modulation mode.

The transmit end and the receive end must have the same settings of the microwave working mode.

Link ID

1-4094

Sets the microwave link ID.

In case of the intermediate frequency 1+1 protection in the FD mode, you need to set different link IDs for the active board and the standby board.

Station Type

Tx high, Tx low

Sets the high station or low station for the ODU equipment.

Transmission Frequency (kHz)

0-4294967295

Sets the transmission frequency for an ODU board. The ODU board can properly transmit and receive signals only when the frequency of the transmitter and the frequency of the received at two ends are matched.

In case of the intermediate frequency 1+1 protection in the FD mode, you need to set different transmission frequency for the active link and the standby link.

Transmit Receive Interval (kHz)

0-4294967295

Sets the interval between the transmission frequency and the received frequency for an ODU board, to avoid mutual interference.

Transmit Power (dBm)

-10.0 to 35.0

Default: 18 dBm

Sets the transmit power for a radio frequency port.

Traffic Volume

For example: 16

Selects the traffic volume of a point-to-point communication microwave link.

Created Service

For example: 5-PH1-1

Selects the tributary channel for which you want to create a cross-connection.

Clock Level 1, Clock Level 2, Clock Level 3

For example: External Clock Source 1

Selects a clock source.

Orderwire No.

For example: 101

Sets the orderwire phone number.

Performance Monitoring

15 Minute, 24 Hour

Sets the performance monitoring.

NE Time Synchronization

Yes, No

Delivers the system time of the U2000 Web LCT server to NEs, to synchronize the time of all NEs with that of the U2000 Web LCT server.
