Calculate CES

U2000 Web LCT support to calculate the maximum number of CES services allowed to be added to the existing CES services on the selected tunnels.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > CES Service Management from the Function Tree. Click the Calculate.

PW Type

CESoPSN, SATop

Sets the PW type.

  • The CESoPSN is of structuralized emulation, and you can set the timeslot compression for it.
  • The SAToP is of non-structuralized emulation, and you cannot set the timeslot compression for it.

Level

E1

Sets the level of TDM frames.

Number of Channels/Slots

1 to 31

Sets the number of channels.

RTP Header

Disabled, Enabled

Set the RTP header. Indicates a real-time transfer protocol that is mainly used for clock synchronization.

  • Enabled: Indicates that the PW processes the RTP head.
  • Disabled: Indicates that the PW does not process the RTP head.

Packet Loading Time (us)

125 to 5000

Indicates the time that the PW packet requires to load the TDM frames. That is, the parameter is used to specify the number of the TDM frames that are loaded in the PW packet. The period of the TDM frame is 125 us. If Packet Loading Time is 1 ms, then eight TDM frames can be loaded in a PW packet.

MS PW

Yes, No

Sets whether the PW which carries services is multiple.

Tunnel

Sets the tunnel.

Result

Displays the calculating result.
