In this user interface, you can query and set the advanced attributes of an Ethernet virtual port.
In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose from the Function Tree. Click the Advanced Attributes tab.

In the scenario where an NE on a network sends an ARP request to an NE on another network, if the NE that connects the two networks can respond to and forward the ARP request, this NE is called the ARP proxy. The ARP proxy enables communication between networks. Only the Ethernet virtual interface whose Port Type is set to VLAN Aggregation Subinterface supports the ARP proxy function. |
