In this user interface, you can set and query the parameters related to the advanced attributes of a circuit emulation service (CES).
In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose . Then, click the Advanced Attributes tab.
Field |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Index |
For example: 1 |
Indicates the PW index. The PW in alarm can be located according to the Monitored Object value. |
PW ID |
Example: 5 |
Displays and specifies the ID for a PW. |
RTP Header |
Disabled, Enable Huawei RTP, Enable Standard RTP |
Set the RTP header. The RTP head carries the clock signals. |
Packet Loading Time (us) |
125 to 5000 |
Set the packet loading time. Set the packet loading time to increase the efficiency in encapsulation. |
Jitter Compensation Buffering Time (us) |
375 to 16000 |
Set the jitter compensation buffer time. The jitter compensation buffer time is set to ensure that the CES service is real-time.
NOTE:
Different NEs support the different ranges of jitter compensation buffering time. When the value exceeds the range, an error message is displayed. The value of Jitter Compensation Buffering Time (us) must be greater than the value of Packetisation Buffering Time (us) on the opposite end. |
Encapsulated Frames |
For example: 8 |
Displays the encapsulated frames. Encapsulated Frames = Packet Loading Time/125. The period of the TDM frame is 125 us. If packet loading time is 1 ms, then eight TDM frames can be loaded in a PW packet. |
Ingress Clock Mode |
Line Clock Mode, Null |
In Clock Mode indicates the clock mode selected when the CES service enters the PW.
Determine whether the local NE or opposite NE is the master end of the clock. If the local NE is the master end, the local NE is set to Line Clock Mode, and the opposite NE is set to Null. |
Egress Clock Mode |
- |
Do not set this parameter. |
| Control Channel Type | CW, None, Alert Label | Set the type of the control channel used by the PW. |
| VCCV Verification Mode | Ping, None | Verify the connectivity of a PW. The VCCV verification mode is a tool used to manually verify the connectivity of a virtual circuit. |
Enable CES Service Alarm Transparent Transmission |
Enabled, Disabled |
If the function is enabled, when a fault occurs on the AC side of a CES service, the remote end is notified of the fault. When a fault indication is received from the network side or the remote end, the NE inserts the corresponding alarm on the AC side. |
Threshold of Entering R Bit Inserting Status |
1 to 65535 |
If the CES service alarm transparent transmission is enabled, when the number of consecutively lost packets of an NE exceeds the threshold, the RBIT alarms are automatically inserted to the network side and the alarms are reported. |
Threshold of Exiting R Bit Inserting Status |
1 to 65535 |
When the number of consecutive packets received by an NE exceeds the threshold, the insertion of RBIT alarms on the network side is automatically canceled and the reporting of the alarm is canceled. |
Sequence Number Mode |
Standard mode, Huawei mode |
|
Payload Compression |
Disabled, Enabled |
The PW packet payload except the CEP and RTP headers can be compressed when AIS alarms are generated or the packets are not loaded on the AC side. Payload compression is disabled by default when services are running properly. NOTE:
Only VC4 and VC4(3*VC3) CES services can be configured with payload compression. |
Control Word |
Must use |
The control word carries the packet information. |
