Adding Boards

When manually configuring the NE data, you need to add boards on the NE Panel. You can either add the physical boards that actually operate on the NE or the logical boards that do not exist on the actual equipment.

Prerequisites

There must be idle slot on the NE Panel.

Procedure

In the NE Explorer, click Slot Layout, and select Master Shelf or Slave Shelf.
Right-click the slot on the slot layout to display the drop-down menu and click the board to be added.
Optional: You can choose add board with one button.
1. In the NE Explorer, choose the NE.
2. Click Add Logical Boards.

  You can either add the physical boards that actually operate on the NE.
