You can generate and print the slot information report. From the viewpoint of slots, the slot information report provides board information, including the physical boards and the logical boards in slots, and information on whether a board is online. When configuring a new board, you need to query the slot information, so you need to update the slot information report when there is any change with regard to board slots.
Prerequisites
The board must be installed.
The board software (of the board that you want to query) supports querying of the board version information.
Procedure
- In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose from the Function Tree.
- Click the Slot Information Report tab.
- Click Query to query the information from the NE.
- Optional: Click Print or Save As to output the report.
- Optional: Click Count Boards to view the number of physical boards, logical boards and offline boards.
