Logging in to the DUT

Certain information, such as the WWN address and Rx credit must be sent to the DUT before the test board sends the test frame. If Topology is set to P2P, the test board has logged in to the DUT by default.

Prerequisites

The test board must be successfully connected to the DUT.

The Topology must be set to Fabric.

It is applicable to the 12LOM board.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose ConfigurationFC Service Test from the Function Tree.
  2. Click the Testing tab.
  3. Click Login and the test board sends a signal to the DUT for the login. After logging in to the DUT is successful, the indicator next to the Login button turns green.

Follow-up Procedure

  • After logging in to the DUT is successful, you can start the FC service test.
  • If logging in to the DUT fails repeatedly, you can reset the connection status and start the connection and login operations again.
