Connecting to the DUT

A connection should be set up between the test board and the DUT before the test board can log in to the DUT.

Prerequisites

Correct FC service test parameters must be successfully applied to the test board.

The physical connection between the test board and the DUT must be correct.

It is applicable to the 12LOM board.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > FC Service Test from the Function Tree.
  2. Click the Testing tab.
  3. Click Link and the test board sends a signal to the DUT for a connection. After the connection is successfully established, the indicator next to the Link button turns green.

Follow-up Procedure

  • After connecting to the DUT is successful, you can start logging in to the DUT.
  • If connecting to the DUT fails repeatedly, you can reset the connection status and start the connection operation again.
