Setting Parameters of the FC Service Test

Before connecting to the DUT, you need to set the parameters of the FC service test on the 12LOM board. The subsequent operations can be performed successfully only when these parameters are correctly set.

Prerequisites

The working mode of at least one port on the 12LOM board must be set to Testing Mode.

Context

NOTE:

In the case of the networking scenario for a dual-port test as the FC service test, port 3 and port 7 on the 12LOM board must be set to the Testing Mode, and the same test parameters must be set for the two ports.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, select a board and choose Configuration > FC Service Test from the Function Tree.
  2. Click the Testing tab.
  3. Set the test parameters for a port according to the actual networking scenario.
  4. Click Apply to apply the test parameters to the board.

Follow-up Procedure

After the test parameters are successfully applied to the board, you can connect to the DUT.
