Configuration of the FC Service Test

This topic describes the configuration and testing procedures of the FC service test.

• Set the Working Mode of a Test Board
  You can perform the FC service test only when the test board is set to Test Mode.
• Setting Parameters of the FC Service Test
  Before connecting to the DUT, you need to set the parameters of the FC service test on the 12LOM board. The subsequent operations can be performed successfully only when these parameters are correctly set.
• Connecting to the DUT
  A connection should be set up between the test board and the DUT before the test board can log in to the DUT.
• Logging in to the DUT
  Certain information, such as the WWN address and Rx credit must be sent to the DUT before the test board sends the test frame. If Topology is set to P2P, the test board has logged in to the DUT by default.
• (Optional) Resetting the Connection Status
  If you fail to connect to or log in to the DUT repeatedly, you can reset the test board by resetting the connection status, and perform the connection operation again.
• Starting or Stopping the FC Service Test
  By sending and receiving the test frame, you can verify whether an FC service line is normal.
