By viewing the network-wide power consumption report, you can learn the network-wide power consumption statistics, annually-conserved energy, and other information.
Prerequisites
- It applies to the OptiX OSN 9600/9800 series, OptiX OSN 8800 series, OptiX OSN 6800 and OptiX OSN 3800 NEs.
Background Information
- Querying the network-wide NE power consumption is time-consuming. If the number of NEs queried exceeds 100, a dialog box is displayed asking you whether to continue.
- The network-wide NE power consumption report is based on NEs instead of subracks.
Procedure
- Choose from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Fix-Network NE Configuration in Application Center and choose from the main menu (application style). Click the Power Consumption Stat. Report tab.
- In the left-hand physical map, select one or more NEs, and click
.
NOTE: It is recommended that you do not select more than 100 NEs at a time. Otherwise, the operation may take a long time.
- Click Query and the result is displayed. For parameter descriptions, see Power Consumption Statistics Report.
NOTE: - During the query process, you can learn the query status according to the progress bar.
- Click Cancel to stop the query.
- Optional: Click Print to print the NE power consumption report.
- Optional: Click Save As to save the report to any directory.
