Service Package (11LOA/F8LOA/54TOA/54THA/F5TOA)

Typical service configurations can be applied in one-click mode using service package modules. As a result, new deployment commissioning is simplified and the maintenance cost is reduced.

Service Package Operation Scenario

Main function of a service package: a user selects a typical service package and issues its commands to configure services.

Status and mode of the system:

Before configuring or replacing a service package, ensure that there is no cross-connection or protection on the boards.

Service Package Configuration Specifications

A service package configures services on all boards of an NE according to user instructions by issuing a series of configuration commands, including commands for configuring cross-connections, port types and service types.

Table 1 lists configurations on a 54TOA or F5TOA board.
NOTE:
54TOA(STND) does not support the service package function.

8*STM-16/OC48->8*ODU1

Sets Port Working Mode to ODU1 non-convergence mode for ClientLP1-ClientLP8.

Sets Service Type to STM-16/OC48 for channel 1 of ClientLP1-ClientLP8.

  • Creates bidirectional ODU0 level cross-connections between channel 1 of ClientLP1-ClientLP8 and 1(IN1/OUT1)-OCh:1-ODU2:1-ODU0:1-1(IN1/OUT1)-OCh:1-ODU2:1-ODU0:8.
