Configuring the Frequency Source Mode

Based on the actual networking situation, configure the frequency source mode of an NE before configuring a clock.

Procedure

  1. In the NE Explorer, select an NE and choose Configuration > Clock > Select Frequency Source Mode from the Function Tree.
  2. Click Query to query the information about the frequency source mode from an NE.
  3. Double-click Select Frequency Source Mode, and select required value from the drop-down list.

    NOTE:

    Currently, the OptiX OSN 6800 only supports the frequency source mode of Physical Synchronization.

  4. Click Apply to complete the configuration.
