History Control Group/RMON History Control Group

In this user interface, you can set Ethernet port performance monitoring parameters. You can make the settings on the basis of 30-second, 30-minute and cycle-definable.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click the Ethernet board and select Performance > RMON Performance from the Function Tree. Click the History Control Group tab.

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Performance > RMON History Control Group from the Function Tree.

Sampling Period

30-Second, 30-Minute, Custom Period 1, Custom Period 2

Selects the monitor period.

Monitored Object

  • Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name-port number(port name)-channel number
  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name-port number(port name)-channel number

The internal port of the NE Ethernet interface board.

Sampling Period(s)

30 to 86400

The value range and default value depend on the boards and the sampling periods.

Number of Items

1 to 50

Default: 50

Number of items can be queried at one time. Up to 50 items can be can queried at one time.

Monitor Status

Enabled, Disabled

Sets whether to monitor.

Sets the enable status of monitoring.

Period Length (s)

For example: 900

Sets duration for the Custom Period 1 or Custom Period 2.

The period must be the integer multiple of 30 seconds.

History Register Count

1 to 50

Sets the number of the history registers.

RMON Monitor Start Time

For example: 05/19/2010 16:24:08

Sets the start time of RMON monitor.
