RES Overhead

In this user interface, you can set reserved for future international standardisation (RES) overhead bytes and relevant parameters.

In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose Configuration > OTN > RES Overhead from the Function Tree.

Field	Value	Description
Object	Equipment that supports the master and slave shelf management: NE name-shelf ID(shelf name)-slot number-board name Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name	Displays the object that the RES overhead monitors.
Use of RES Bytes	Enabled, Disabled	Sets whether to use the RES overhead.
