RES Overhead

In this user interface, you can set reserved for future international standardisation (RES) overhead bytes and relevant parameters.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, click a board and choose Configuration > OTN > RES Overhead from the Function Tree.

  • Equipment that does not support the master and slave shelf management: NE name-slot number-board name

Displays the object that the RES overhead monitors.

Use of RES Bytes

Enabled, Disabled

Sets whether to use the RES overhead.
