Function |
Query Switching Status |
Queries the protection group status. |
|
Clear |
Clears switching for the selected port. |
||
Force to Protection |
Forces the service to switch from the working channel to the protection channel. This switching is performed regardless of the protection channel state, unless the protection channel is satisfying a higher priority bridging request. |
||
Force to Working |
Forces services to switch from the protection channel to the working channel. This switching is performed regardless of the working channel state, unless the working channel is satisfying a higher priority bridging request. |
||
Manual to Protection |
Performs manual switching from the working channel to the protection channel. If the protection channel is normal, the switching takes place. If the protection channel has a failure or must satisfy higher priority switching, the switching does not take place. |
||
Manual to Working |
Performs manual switching from the protection channel to the working channel. If the working channel is normal, the switching takes place. If the working channel has a failure or must satisfy higher priority switching, the switching does not take place. |
||
Lockout of Protection |
The switching request for the port is denied, but the reversion of switching is allowed. Regardless of the status of the working and protection channels, the services are locked in the working channel. NOTE:
The services are locked in the working channel regardless of whether the working and protection channels are normal or faulty. |

Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Service Type |
SNCP |
Displays the service protection type. |
Source Source Channel |
|
Displays the service source timeslot of the service. |
Sink Service Sink |
|
Displays the service sink timeslot of the service. |
Level |
GE, Any, ODU1, ODU2, ODU3, ODU5G |
Displays the service level. |
Current Status |
Normal, Lockout, Forced Switching, Forced Switching to Working, Forced Switching to Protection, SF Switching, SD Switching, Manual Switching, Manual Switching to Working, Manual Switching to Protection, Automatic Switching, WTR, DNR, Unknown |
Displays the current switching status of the protection group. |
Revertive Mode |
Revertive, Non-Revertive |
Displays the revertive mode. Whether the working service is switched back from the protection service after it returns normal. |
WTR Time (s) |
300 to 720 |
Sets the wait-to-restore time. Refer to the period of time starting when it is detected the working service returns to normal and ending when the working service is switched back after the protection switching. If the revertive mode is non-revertive, skip this step. |
Hold-Off Time (100ms) Delay Time (100 ms) |
0 to 100, in the unit of 100 milliseconds |
Sets a period of time starts when the system detects signal degrade and ends when service switching occurs, so as to avoid duplicate switching when the service status is unstable. Sets 100 milliseconds as the unit time for switching. 5 indicates that the hold-off time is 500 milliseconds. |
SNCP Type |
SW SNCP, SNC/I, SNC/N, SNC/S, MSSNCP |
Displays the protection type of a service. |
