In this user interface, you can query and set parameters for PDH interfaces of an NE.
In the NE Explorer, select a board and select from the Function Tree.
Button |
Description |
|---|---|
Query |
Queries various parameter properties of the PDH interface from the NE. |
Apply |
Sends the configurations upon completion of the setting. |
Column Mode Row Mode |
When Column Mode is clicked, a column is selected by clicking in the list. When Row Mode is clicked, a row is selected by clicking in the list. |
Quick Query |
Works jointly with the Column Mode or Row Mode button to query the value of the selected row or column from the Web LCT. In this way, the query efficiency is increased. |

Port |
|
Displays the port occupied by the PDH service. |
Port Name |
For example: SDH_TU-1 |
Sets the port name. |
Tributary Loopback |
Non-Loopback, Outloop, Inloop Default: Non-Loopback |
Sets the loopback mode of a port of the tributary board. Object: port. Non-loopback: Normal status, you do not need to set loopback during normal equipment operation. Outloop: The input signal passes the input port and reaches the tributary board at the local NE and then is directly looped back to the service output end. Inloop: The input signal returns from the tributary board of the destination NE along the original trail. This function is usually used to locate faults for various service channels. Tributary loopback is a diagnosis function which may affect services of related channels. Think twice before using it. |
Port Impedance |
75 ohm |
Sets the port impedance mode, you need to make selection according to the actual impedance of the board. Query the port impedance mode. Object: port. The default value of the port impedance for query only is 75 ohm. |
Service Load Indication |
Load, Non-Loaded Default: Load |
Sets the service loading status of the corresponding port on the tributary board. Object: port To mask all the alarms of a port not loaded with any service on the tributary board, you need to set the service loading indication of this tributary board port to: Non-Loaded. For a tributary board with service running, the corresponding port must be set to: Load. NOTE:
If a path is configured with services and carries real services, set Service Load Indication to Load. If a path is configured with services but does not carry real services, set Service Load Indication to Non-Loaded to suppress the reporting of certain alarms. If you select Non-Loaded, you do not need to click OK in the Confirm dialog box. NOTICE:
If you set the service load indication to Non-Loaded, the services may be interrupted or you may fail to log in to certain NEs. |
Retiming Mode |
Normal, Retiming Mode of Tributary Clock, Retiming Mode of Cross-Connect Clock Default: Normal |
Sets the retiming mode of the board. The default value is usually selected. Object: board |
Input Signal Equalization |
Equalized, Unequalized |
Sets whether the input signals of each port on the tributary board need to be equalized, and whether to select Equalized or Unequalized depends on the cable length. When the selected cable is longer than 70 meters, please select the Equalized mode for this port. |
Output Signal Equalization |
Equalized, Unequalized |
Sets whether the output signals of each port on the tributary board need to be equalized, and whether to select Equalized or Unequalized depends on the cable length. When the selected cable is longer than 70 meters, please select the Equalized mode for this port. |
