Advanced Attributes

In this interface, you can query the advanced attributes related to the QoS of the PW.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose Configuration > Packet Configuration > MPLS Management > PW Management from the Function Tree. Then, click the Advanced Attributes tab.

Parameters

PW ID

Example: 5

Displays or specifies the ID for a PW.

Control Word

Not Use, Preferentially Use, Must Use

Display the control word of the PW.

Control Channel Type

NONE, CW, Alert Label

Display the control channel type.

VCCV Verification Mode

NONE, Ping

Display the VCCV verification mode.

Request VLAN

Example: 1-4095

Display the request VLAN.
  • In the case of a static PW, the request VLAN indicates the VLAN tag attached during the PW encapsulation.
  • In the case of a dynamic PW, if the local equipment cannot attach the VLAN tag, the opposite equipment should attach the VLAN tag during the PW encapsulation.

TPID

1 to 65535

The TPID on the connected equipment must be the same with the local equipment.

Max.Concatenated Cell Count

Example: 10

Display the maximum concatenated cell count of the ATM service.

Packetisation Buffering Time (us)

Example: 1000

Display the packetisation buffering time of packets.

The packetisation buffering time of packets can improve the encapsulation efficiency.

RTP Header

Enabled, Disabled

Display the RTP header.

The RTP header is used to load the clock signals.

Jitter Compensation Buffering Time (us)

Example: 5000

Display the jitter compensation buffering time.

The jitter compensation buffering time ensures that the CES services are in real time.

Packet Loading Time (us)

Example: 1000

Display the packet loading time of packets.

The packet loading time of packets can improve the encapsulation efficiency.

Clock Mode

Adaptive Clock Mode, External Clock Mode, Null

Display the clock mode.

The clock mode ensures that the CES service can be correctly restored at the sink.

Encapsulated Frames

For example: 8

Displays the encapsulated frames.

Encapsulated Frames = Packet Loading Time/125. The period of the TDM frame is 125 us. If packet loading time is 1 ms, then eight TDM frames can be loaded in a PW packet.

Ingress Clock Mode

Adaptive Clock Mode, External Clock Mode, Null

Display the ingress clock mode.

The clock mode ensures that the CES service can be correctly restored at the sink. Null indicates that the clock information in the CES service is not restored.

Egress Clock Mode

Adaptive Clock Mode, External Clock Mode, Null

Display the egress clock mode.

The clock mode ensures that the CES service can be correctly restored at the sink. Null indicates that the clock information in the CES service is not restored.

Enable CES Service Alarm Transparent Transmission

Enabled, Disabled

If the function is enabled, when a fault occurs on the AC side of a CES service, the remote end is notified of the fault. When a fault indication is received from the network side or the remote end, the NE inserts the corresponding alarm on the AC side.

Threshold of Entering R Bit Inserting Status

1 to 65535

If the CES service alarm transparent transmission is enabled, when the number of consecutively lost packets of an NE exceeds the threshold, the RBIT alarms are automatically inserted to the network side and the alarms are reported.

Threshold of Exiting R Bit Inserting Status

1 to 65535

When the number of consecutive packets received by an NE exceeds the threshold, the insertion of RBIT alarms on the network side is automatically canceled and the reporting of the alarm is canceled.

Sequence Number Mode

Standard mode, Huawei mode

The standard mode is applicable to the network consisting of devices from Huawei and other manufacturers.

The Huawei mode is applicable to the network consisting of only Huawei devices.

Payload Compression

Enabled, Disabled

Payload Compression is supported only by VC4 or VC4(3*VC3) level CES service.
