Link Aggregation Parameters

This topic describes the definitions of the port ID, port priority, and system priority of an LAG.

In the NE Explorer, click the NE and choose Configuration > Packet Configuration > Interface Management > Link Aggregation Group Management from the Function Tree. Click the Link Aggregation Parameters tab.

Parameters

Port Priority	0-65535, in step length of 1 Default: 32768	The Port Priority (Link Aggregation) parameter specifies the priority of the ports in the link aggregation group of the LACP protocol. The port priority can be set. It indicates the priority level of a port to be aggregated. If a port is of higher priority, this port is preferred to carry the services. If a link aggregation group (for example, manual aggregation group) does not run the LACP protocol, it does not take effect after the port priority is set.
System Load Sharing Hash Algorithm	Source MAC, Destination MAC, Source and Destination MACs, MPLS Label, Source IP Address, Destination IP Address, Source and Destination IP Addresses, Automatic	Set System Load Sharing Hash Algorithm properly to ensure that the service flows in compliance with the algorithm are transported over the same link. In this way, the received data packets are in the correct frame sequence. This parameter is applicable to all link aggregation groups (LAGs) on the same NE.
