In the case of the UNI-NNI direction, select the network-side bearer type as PW, Port, or QinQ Link.

Service Tag Role

User, Service

Indicates the service tag role of E-Line service. When Service Tag Role is set to Service, only one VLAN ID can be set for the VLANs field.

User: The outer C/SVlan tag of user packets is used as the user VLAN tag. When the packets are forwarded, the packet forwarding is based on the user VLAN tag.

Service: The outer C/SVlan tag of user packets is used as the service VLAN tag. When the packets are forwarded, the packet forwarding is not based on the service VLAN tag.

Port

Example: Slot-Board Name-Port (Port No.)

Indicates the user-side port or network-side port.

VLANs

1 to 4094

Indicates the VLAN ID. The VLAN ID can be null; or you can set one or more VLAN IDs.

Priority

0 to 7

A UNI-NNI E-Line service carried by a PW can be mapped into different PWs by VLAN+VLAN priority (namely, the priority table parameter). This parameter configures the VLAN priority table in a PW.

The priority table can be empty or contain one or more priority values. When setting multiple priorities, separate every two priorities with a comma. When multiple priorities need to be expressed in a range, use a dash (-) to connect the first and last priorities, for example, 2-5.

  • If the priority table is empty, the service is mapped into different PWs by VLAN. In this case, the packets with a priority in the range of 0 to 7 can be carried by the service.
  • If the priority table is not empty, the service is mapped into different PWs by VLAN+VLAN priority (namely, the priority table parameter). In this case, the E-Line service must be configured with one service VLAN.

Source VLANs

1 to 4094

Indicates one or several VLAN IDs.

Bearer Type

PW, Port, QinQ Link

Indicates the bearer type when the service direction is set to UNI-NNI.

Protection Type

NOTE:

This parameter can be set when the New check box is selected.

This parameter can be set when the Bearer Type is set to QinQ Link.

BPDU

Not Transparently Transmitted, Transparently Transmitted

Indicates the transparent transmission ID of the bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) packets. It is used to specify whether the E-Line service transparently transmits the BPDU packets.
  • If the BPDU packets are used as the service packets and transparently transmitted to the opposite end, set this parameter to Transparently Transmitted. That is, the parameter value Transparently Transmitted takes effect only if Encapsulation Type of the source and sink ports of the E-Line service are Null.
  • In other cases, set this parameter to Not Transparently Transmitted.
NOTE:
When BPDU is set to Transparently Transmitted, you cannot set Source VLANs andSink VLANs. The transparently transmitted service does not support configuring the alarm performance, OAM and QoS.
MTU (bytes)

46 to 9600

Indicates the maximum transport unit (MTU). When receiving packets of a length more than the MTU, the port divides the packets into segments and then transports these segments. If the packets contain a flag indicating that packet division is not allowed, the port discards the packet.

Deployment Status

Deployed, Undeployed

Specifies whether a service is deployed.
  • Deployed: Indicates that the service has been applied to an NE.
  • Undeployed: Indicates that the service is saved on the Web LCT only.

ARP Dual Feed

Enable, Disable

Specifies whether to enable dual feed. If you set this parameter to Enable for an E-Line service in PW FPS protection, the working and protection PWs both transmit ARP packets.

PW Dual Receiving

-

This parameter cannot be set.

MAC Address Withdrawal upon PW OAM Fault

-

This parameter cannot be set.

Reverse Tunnel

Example: 3

Indicates the reverse tunnel.

Port

Example: GE1

type

Indicates the port type.

Port Name

Example: 2(PORT-2)

Indicates the port name.

Port Enable

Enable, Disable

When the port is enabled, it indicates that the user uses the port and the port has services. When the port is disabled, it indicates that the port does not process services. When configuring services, enable the involved ports.

Port Mode

Layer 2, Layer 3

Select the working mode of the port.

  • Layer 2: The port can access the user-side equipment or carry Ethernet services that are based on the ports and use the port exclusively.

  • Layer 3: The port can carry tunnels.

VLAN ID(e.g. 1,3-5)

Example: 3-5

Indicates the VLAN ID.

Working Mode

Auto-Negotiation, 10M Half-Duplex, 10M Full-Duplex, 100M Half-Duplex, 100M Full-Duplex, 1000M Half-Duplex, 1000M Full-Duplex, 10G Full-Duplex LAN, 10G Full-Duplex WAN

Indicates the working mode of the Ethernet port. The auto-negotiation mode is recommended, because it can automatically find out the best working mode to combine a port and its interconnected port and thus is convenient for maintenance.

Be careful to configure the same working mode for the port and its interconnected port. Otherwise, service will fail.

Encapsulation Type

Null, 802.1Q, QinQ

Indicates the means of processing the accessed packets.

  • Null: The port transparently transmits the accessed packets.
  • 802.1Q: The port identifies the 802.1Q standard packets.
  • QinQ: The port identifies the QinQ standard packets.
NOTE:
When the Direction is set as UNI-NNI, OptiX RTN 380 only supports 802.1Q.

Tag

Tag Aware, Access, Hybrid

Specifies which packets can be processed.

  • Tag Aware: The port transparently transmits the data packet with a VLAN ID (tag). If a data packet does not have a VLAN ID (untag), the port discards this data packet. In this case, the Default VLAN ID and VLAN Priority are meaningless.
  • Access: The port adds the default VLAN ID to the data packet without any VLAN ID (untag). If the data packet has a VLAN ID (tag), the port discards this data packet.
  • Hybrid: The port adds the default VLAN ID to the data packet without any VLAN ID (untag). If the data packet has a VLAN ID (tag), the port transparently transmits the data packet.
NOTE:
When the Direction is set as UNI-NNI, OptiX RTN 380 only supports Tag Aware.

Specify IP Address

Unspecified, Manually

Indicates the port IP address setting mode.

  • Unspecified: the IP address can be dynamically allocated.
  • Manually: the IP address of the port can be manually configured.
NOTE:

This parameter is available when Port Mode is Layer 3.

IP Address

Example: 192.168.0.1

Indicates the port IP address.

NOTE:

This parameter can be set when Specify IP Address is Specified.

This parameter is available when Port Mode is Layer 3.

CAUTION:

Changing port IP addresses will re-establish links on NEs and interrupt services.

IP Mask

Example: 255.255.255.0

Indicates the mask of the port IP address.

NOTE:

This parameter can be set when Specify IP Address is Specified.

This parameter is available when Port Mode is Layer 3.
