Protocol Transfer

In a switching network, a port on the switch with the MSTP protocol is connected to the switch with the STP protocol. The port can automatically transfer to and work in the STP-compatible mode. If the switch with the STP protocol is disconnected, the port does not automatically transfer to the MSTP mode and still works in the STP-compatible mode. In this case, perform the protocol transfer function to transfer the port to the MSTP mode.
