Protocol Config

In this interface, you can set and query the protocol configuration.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose Configuration > Packet Configuration > Ethernet Protocol Configuration > IGMP Snooping Configuration from the navigation tree. Then, click the Protocol Config tab.

Specifies whether a protocol is enabled.

Router Port Aging Time(min)

Default: 8

Indicates the aging time for the multicast router port.

Max. Nonresponse Times from Multicast Members

1-4

Default: 3

Indicates the maximum non-response times of multicast group members.

Max. Multicast Groups

Example: Unlimited

Indicates the maximum number of multicast groups.

The number of static multicast groups and the number of members should not be larger than the maximum number set by the user.

Example: Unlimited

Indicates the maximum number of multicast group members.

Actual Multicast Group Count

Example: 2

Indicates the number of actual multicast groups.

Actual Multicast Members Count

Example: 3

Indicates the number of actual multicast members.

VLAN ID

Example: 5

Indicates the VLAN ID of the service.

Port Type

V-UNI, V-NNI

Indicates the type of a port traversed by the service.
  • V-UNI: user-side port.
  • V-NNI: network-side port.

Port

Example: 21-N1PETF8-2(PORT-2)[55]

Indicates the port name.

Static and Dynamic IGMP Router Port Coexist

Enabled, Disabled

Specifies whether to allow static and dynamic IGMP router ports to coexist. If this function is enabled, dynamic router ports can be learned.
