With the Ethernet cross-board link aggregation group (LAG), the Ethernet ports on two Ethernet boards are configured as a port aggregation group to establish links with an opposite NE. In this way, the Ethernet link protection is realized. The DLAG protection can work with the SW SNCP protection. Two independent electrical cross-connections must be configured between the main board of the DLAG protection and the working and the protection board of the SW SNCP protection respectively.
In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose from the Function Tree.
The DLAG protection cannot co-exist with the following functions or protection:
In terms of configuring the DLAG services of the TBE board, note the following rules.
Field |
Value |
Description |
|---|---|---|
LAG No. |
1 to 64 |
Displays the LAG No. |
LAG Name |
For example, DLAG1 |
Displays the name of an LAG. |
Load Sharing |
Non-Sharing |
Currently only non-sharing is supported. |
Master Board |
|
Displays the active board of an LAG. |
Master Port |
For example, PORT3 |
Displays the active port of an LAG. |
Standby Board |
|
Displays the standby board of an LAG. |
Standby Port |
For example, PORT3 |
Displays the standby port of an LAG. |
| Revertive Mode | Revertive, Non-Revertive Default: Revertive |
The Revertive Mode (DLAG) parameter specifies whether to switch a service back to the main port that recovers from a fault. |
LAG Status |
For example, active |
Displays the current status of an LAG. |
Active Board |
|
Displays the current working board of an LAG. |
Active Port |
For example, PORT3 |
Displays the current working port of an LAG. |
LAG Priority |
0 to 65535 |
Displays the priority of an LAG. |
| Master Port Priority | 0-65535 Default: 32768 |
The Master Port Priority (DLAG) parameter specifies the priority of the main port in a distributed link aggregation group (DLAG). A port of higher priority is preferred to carry the services. |
| Standby Port Priority | 0-65535 Default: 32768 |
The Standby Port Priority (DLAG) parameter specifies the priority of the Standby port in a DLAG. The priority is specified in the LACP. A port of higher priority is preferred to carry the services. |
