Port MAC Address Filtering

In this user interface, you can set the port MAC address filtering.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, choose the Ethernet data board. Select Configuration > Ethernet Maintenance > Port MAC Address Filtering.

Guideline

  • To add the MAC address of a remote router on Windows OS, perform the following operations:

    To complete the operation, you need to set the General tab of the Internet option of the browser as follows: In Internet Temporary Files, click Settings. The Settings dialog box is displayed. Then, in Check for newer version of stored pages, select Every visit to the page.

  • To add the MAC address of a remote router on Solaris OS, perform the following operations:
    1. Install the flash plug-in.
    2. Navigate to Mozilla, and enter about:config in the address bar. In Filter, enter cache. Then, set the Value of browser.cache.disk.enable to true.
