Multi-Chassis Synchronization Protocol

In this window, you can set parameters for MCSP.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select the desired Ethernet board and choose Configuration > Multi-Chassis Synchronization Protocol from the navigation tree.

Parameters

**Table 1** Parameter Description for Cross-Device Protocol Channel
Parameter	Value	Description
Protocol Channel ID	1 to 8	Indicates the ID of a protocol channel.
Port	For example: PORT3	Indicates the port of the cross-device protocol channel. NOTE: The port of the MC-LAG cannot be the port of the MCSP.
Hello Interval(s)	1 to 10	Indicates the interval between sending the Hello packets. The status of the peer NE can be checked by sending the Hello packets periodically.
Peer Status	up, down	Indicates the status of a peer NE.
