MC-LAG Management

In this window, you can query and set parameters for MC-LAG.

Navigation Path

In the NE Explorer, select the desired Ethernet board and choose Configuration > Ethernet Interface Management > Ethernet Link Aggregation Management from the navigation tree. In the window that is displayed, click the MC-LAG Management tab.

Description

Local LAG No.

For example: 2

Indicates the ID of a local LAG.

Main Port of the Local LAG

For example: PORT5

Indicates the main port of the local LAG.
NOTE:

This parameter can only be selected from the existing LAG.

Main Port of the Remote LAG

For example: PORT4

Indicates the main port of the remote LAG.

Protocol Channel ID

1 to 8

Indicates the ID of a cross-device protocol channel.
NOTE:
  • This parameter can only be selected from the existing MCSP.
  • The selected MCSP port cannot be Main Port of the Local LAG.

Protection Type

ERPS

Indicates the protection type that can be configured with an MC-LAG.

Reversion Mode

Revertive, Non-revertive

Default: Revertive

Indicates the current reversion mode of a cross-device LAG.

Reversion Time (minute)

0 to 10

Indicates the reversion time. Specifically, the time used for switching a protection channel to a work channel after the work channel restores to normal state.
NOTE:

This parameter can be set only when Reversion Mode is Revertive.

Set Southbound Port

For example: PORT3

Specifies the southbound port of an MC-LAG. The southbound port is used to access Ethernet services.
NOTE:
  • Only two ports can be set to Set Southbound Port.
  • The southbound port of different MC-LAGs has the same functions.
  • The ports of MCSP can be the southbound ports.

Work Mode

Independent, Dependent

Indicates the current work mode of the MC-LAG.
  • Dependent: Indicates that the MCSP channel functions properly and the local LAG cooperates with the remote LAG.
  • Independent: Indicates that the MCSP channel functions improperly and the local LAG and remote LAG work independently.
